Looks like it might be mint damage and struck through Grease on the obverse

On the reverse it looks like there is two strikes that show denticles

It may be a slight Struck Through Grease but is so badly damaged that there is no extra value.
Spend it if you can.

I agree that there MAY be an area of strike through, but it has so much post-mint damage that it's hard to tell. The coin has led a tough life.

Vice marks? Bad method to make a mint error?
We used to put single coins on the train tracks to get flats, but also did stacks of two or three where big/heavy equipment was driving for the mines or railways and get some strange marks that I guess could look a little like a double strike, but ugly. There were also coins around that had been thrown in coal fires that had weird marks, or were all stuck together. I haven't had any like this in years, but this reminds me of those kinds of things... melted and squished.
