Welcome to Coins and Canada
Please explain what you see as an error. All I see is a well circulated 1987 Loonie.
Also always show both sides of the coin when posting. You have 5 of the reverse
and none of the obverse.

There were 205 million of the first loonies minted. I see nothing except 5 Reverses.

That hole is just minor damage.
Most small anomolies are just damage as opposed to an error.

Unless I'm WAY off base, the loon is on the Reverse, with the monarch on the Obverse.

Minor damage but not from the mint?

It is only an error if it happens during the actual striking of the planchet.
Anything that happens after that is damage. What you have could not have
happened at that that time so by default it is damage. It is impossible to say
exactly where this happened.
