I have what seems like a fairly rare coin in that it is a 1944 5 cent Tombac. It is in not bad shape except for after minting damage really bad on obverse side and minor on reverse. It weighs 4.35 grams. I was wondering about a guesstimate as to what kind of a grade it would receive.
I will attempt to post the photos but I am pretty much incompetent with moving files around computer related and just about anything else other than searches and e-mail .
I am a technically challenged senior and pretty much a novice at coin collecting although I have been spending a considerable amount of time sorting out a large quantity of coins I have been saving for quite a few years now.
I look forward to any comments with regard to the above coin!

looks like steel chrome plated to me
Re: 1944 5 cent tombac
Did you check to see if it was magnetic or non-magnetic?
Re: 1944 5 cent tombac
I agree I don't see a tombac either. Maybe better pictures with a different back ground colour

Knsgee here, and after the fact I did check and found it to be magnetic and I have doubts that it is tombac as well since it only weighs 4.35 grams! Wouldn’t a tombac be more like 4.55?
