I have a 1992 and 1996 both are magnetic and weigh 3.5 grams. Per the information found should be 2.5 grams and copper/bronze non-magnetic. Where can I get them authenticated? or any information would be helpful?

Are you sure your scales are accurate?
No Canadian Small Cent weighs that much.
Did you check the diameter?
Also could you please provide photos, that may help
