Hello

I'm very new at grading coins. I wanted to provide some pics along with my novice grading opinion and I'm hoping folks will tell me if I'm somewhat accurate. Please let me know your thoughts so I can improve my grading skills.

Attached 1935 Silver Dollar
Obverse
- effigy of King George is worn, but still has some detail in crown and facial feature
- free from any major scratches, a few minor scratches
- lettering and points around rim of the coin in pretty good shape
- colour seems pretty good although the coin has probably been cleaned
Reverse
- lettering and date are worn, but still readable
- voyager is worn, but some water lines are still visible
- points around the rim seem in good shape

Grade: Between VG and F. Perhaps a bit closer to the F.

I'll say VG-8 and heavily cleaned. Not worth much over scrap and scrap would be for a lighter weight example.
