1973 large bust quarter grade help

Post by the_relics » Thu Nov 10, 2022 12:19 pm

Hi , looking for opinions on the grade of my 1973 large bust quarter please.
My mother-in-law found this in her change in the 1970’s and gifted to me recently.

Thanks in advance!

With all the dings on her face, maybe XF+ instead of AU. Still a very nice coin.

Thank you for the replies.

The coin looks almost flawless to the naked eye. A local part-time coin dealer guessed at MS 60 but I was skeptical about that when I took these close up high resolution photos.
