1967 Nickel

Post by Oilers11 » Tue Mar 18, 2025 12:10 pm

My dad purchased a bunch of these in 1967 on the recommendation of a friend and they have been in plastic containers since then. Are they worth more than a nickel now or should I just deposit?

If there are some in here that are in high MS, then they may be worth a few extra bucks, but they would have to be uncirculated and in great conditions. One of the things I have found is that once coins are moved around and put into those plastic tubes, they often seem to have also acquired fingerprints, even if they were fantastic.

If they were just acquired through change obtained here and there, they aren't worth too much.
