Canadian $50 bills

Years ago my aunt in Canada received money in 1975 $50 bills from her bank which she did not use. She gave 10 to me. They were unfolded and pristine when I got them and I have kept them in sleeves. 6 of them are consecutive EHE 3852017 - 3852022. I don’t know anything about worth or anything about trading but I would appreciate actually going physically somewhere to have them looked at. I live in Scotland and wondered if any knowledgeable person out there can make a recommendation. Thank you

The EHE prefix signature variety will be Lawson-Bouey.
Charlton catalogue number BC-51a-i
A common prefix as opposed to others
Catalogue prices are in CDN $
AU 110
UNC 150
CHOICE 175
GEM 225

Remember these are catalogue prices
What you get will depend on demand in your area and condition
Although they may look perfect they may still have flaws ie counting creases
The fact that you have consecutive notes
Will not increase the prices because of the note being common with 10,000,000
Being printed
Unfortunately I am in Canada and cannot suggest anyone in your area except perhaps a local coin shop
They could at the very least give you an idea on condition of the notes
If you do have an interest in selling down the road contact me as I may be interested
in a few
If the others have a different prefix post it and I can give you further information
Good luck

Prefix EHF and EHC are part of the same series so the values would be the same.

Actually your comment is incorrect!

Although the notes are from the same series....
The EHF prefix has two different signature
Varieties.

Lawson Bouey 6440000 printed
and Crow Bouey 3560000 printed

The Lawson Bouey signature cat prices:
$200, $225, $275 for Unc, Choice, Gem

The Crow Bouey signature cat prices:
$175, $200, $250 for Unc, Choice, Gem

Why the lower price for the lower issue number printed I cannot explain
However always realize that prices are
Based on many things within a series and denomination
Hope this helps

My thanks to everyone for your help. I am going to try to find a local expert - if I can find one - and ask them to examine the notes and I’ll take it from there.
