i notice on some auction websites that some collectors are willing to pay a significant premium for consecutive notes
is this premium warranted or justified?
thanks
consecutive notes
Re: consecutive notes
Depends on the year.
There usually isn’t too much of a premium for modern notes but some earlier years demand a premium.

Re: consecutive notes
I tend to avoid any listing with consecutive # as part of their title because they seem to attract coin collectors or newbies. That's the way banknotes are issued.
Consecutive only counts for errors, some special serial #, 1954 Replacements, Devil's Face & earlier.
