Greetings,
I am a newby to the subject of currency collection. I have run across some old bills and I am wondering about the possible values. I noticed a similar bill to this one sold at an auction for a tidy sum but I entered the description into a search engine that I ran across and it indicated it is only worth roughly face value.
Many thanks in advance to those in this forum that have the time to give me a vague idea about the value of this bill!
Best Regards,
tma
1973 $1 bill Lawson-Bowey FH0009054

Welcome to the forum
Your search engine was correct. That is a common two letter prefix series with over 1.8 billion printed.
To be classed as a low serial number, you need at least 4 zeros at the start.
Value in that condition is a dollar or two.
