New to this site .

Post by gramps32 » Tue Aug 21, 2012 12:14 pm

I am new to this site and would like to introduce myself .
I call myself GRAMPS and have been collecting since the early 80`s .
I was lucky enough to accumulate many pennies and nickels over the years . In the late 90`s i managed to buy a small collection of rolls , uncirculated and circulated coins of pennies and nickels . Lots of doubles and hanging varieties showed up . Just recently i found your site on the web and have looked at my coins more closely for errors . Having gone through maybe a quarter of my collection , i have found over 1000 coins with errors and full rolls .

Thanks to sites like this one , i have found loads of information and pictures of most varieties and have found some not listed here . Can any one tell me the best way of getting pictures of the coins . I have tried many a camera with out much success .

Thanks Gramps .

There's some USB microscope that can take great picutres of your errors. Pictures taken are automaticaly on your PC.

You can also buy a scan today for around $100 they also make nice pictures on toip of being used for more than just your coin collections.
