WTS: Grandfather’s collection which consists of Canadian And Newfoundland Coins
Hi all,
I’ve been a long time lurker, and want to thank you all for this AMAZING resource. Thank you for all the knowledge shared on this forum.
I’m relatively new to Coin Collecting, but my Grandfather wants me to help him sell his coin collections. Looking for advice, and a fair trade for both parties. Ultimately, he will make the decision if he wants to sell for the price offered or not.
Feel free to send any messages or questions. Thank you.
Here are some items:
Canadian 50 cents: 1870 to 1953
Canadian dimes: 1858 to 1948
Canada large cents: 1858 to 1920
Newfoundland dimes: 1865 to 1945
New Brunswick dime: 1864
Newfoundland 50 cents: 1870 to 1919
I also have some US coins:
US large cents: 1798 to 1856
Silver Dollars of the world (20 coins)
Silver commemorative medals (7 coins)
Uncirculated Silver Dollars (13 coins): 1879 to 1924
Gold Native American Head coins
Gold and Silver bouillon

Welcome to Coins and Canada
First of all, what city or town do you live in.
Also are you able to provide clear photos of the coins if requested.
When you say uncirculated, that could be anywhere from MS60 to MS67

Re: WTS: Grandfather’s collection which consists of Canadian And Newfoundland Coins
I live in Seattle, WA, but my Grandfather lives in Tampa, FL.
Yes, I could provide clear pictures of specific coins upon request.
The "U.S. Large Cents" are my Grandfather's grading, but the rest were graded by a professional in the 1970's and are conservatively 95% accurate. I am unable to specify between the "uncirculated" MS60 to MS67. I am willing to go to a local Appraisal of any coins people are interested in for a more specific grading.
I have attached some additional documents highlighting some of the U.S. Coin Collection.
Ideally, I would like to sell the whole collection, but others have advised that I take my time with the collection and sell individual coins that Collector's need for their collections. I'm open to either approach. Thank you.

I might be interested in the Canadian Victoria large cents. As a variety collector, I would need to see both sides of the coins. You can PM me to arrange for the photos to be emailed.

Guys,
This original post is over 1 1/2 years old and is the only one the
OP made so I doubt if he will even see this to answer it.
Also he stated the coins are in Florida so it will be a little hard to
see them unless you want to make the trip down.
