Dryer coin?
I'm fairly certain this is likely a dryer coin, but thought I'd run it by the experts...

Also, is the appearance a nickel that was struck through grease would give? I thought there may be a chance since the metal is sort of hilly, raised and the beads are still somewhat present.

Sorry, I thought that it was a quarter. It doesn't look like struck-thru-grease either.
