I purchased a roll of uncirculated 1977 Canada cents. I think I have found 8 coins with a hanging 7 but I can't find any listed in the price guide. Are these considered hanging 7 ? Also the obverse have spikes all around the head my camera did not show all the spikes. Any help on these coins will be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: 1977 Canada cents
Isn't that how a hanging 1963 1964 is formed by a die clash? So it could be called a hanging 7 Is there any value in die clashes?

Re: 1977 Canada cents
You can see where the leaf stem has clashed below the bend in the throat on the obverse and in the same place on the reverse you can see the curve in the throat has created the "hanging seven".
All the "hanging digits" on the cents are formed by similar clashes.
There is a small premium for these "hanging digits" as there is significant collector interest in these particular clashes.
