1955 dollar, arnprior with die breaks?

Post by Bobjensenrunte » Thu May 08, 2025 7:06 pm

Hi, I believe my 1955 silver dollar is an arnprior with die breaks on the G and R in gratia. Can anyone confirm this?

It is an Arnprior but I believe that is just damage between the G and R.
A cracked die would be raised and that looks incuse.

I think that the die crack should be between the t and I to be the true 1955 arnprior with die crack

The die break between the T & I confirms it is an Arnprior
but there are some without the die break.
These will have less of a premium than those with the die break.
