Hi,

I have this 1976 D wicked error coin as seen.
I've been trying to figure out raised ghost DD but I can not figure it out.
Coin wrong weight planchet, missing layer(s), couldn't struck fully with thinner planchet, coin field has so many trace of characters left behind,,,,
AnyBody know what the planchet is?
Thank you,

If this is one of the “error” coins you were wanting to send to get graded, then don’t.
It is not an error, it is damage from being attacked with acid. Value 1 cent.
Suggest you post some of your other errors before you try sending them out.
