Wellington - Colonial and pre-confederation tokens of Canada

In 1813, Wellington led an offensive against the French line of communications and routed the army of King Joseph Bonaparte in the Battle of Vitoria, for which he was promoted to field marshal on 21 June. The tokens were made in England and some of them circulated in Canada.
