W. Barrett - Ottawa - 14 cents
Description
In 1891 W. Barrett secured the contract to deliver the slabs sold as firewood from Hurdman & Cos. saw mills. One of these tokens, which were good for 14 cents, were given to the carters for each load of wood carried. In 1892 the contract was given up, when the balance of the tokens with the dies, were sold to Mr. L.J. Casault of Ottawa.
