The Montreal Witness - Prize Competition
Description
In 1890, the "Montreal Witness Journal" offered a series of prizes to be among the public school of the Dominion. The participating children, who wrote a story of some event of the country near their school, received this token.
In 1891, a different token in aluminum with the same goal was issued.
