That's quite an impressive amount of auction sales - most (all?) of which is from coins. That's probably about 100 times more than the total dollar amount of all the Canadian coins auctioned off within a one year period by all auctioneers. And there are other US coin auctioneers as well.
Heritage Coin Auctions
The CNA auction's value was $2,000,000. I am not sure what the Torex auctions average but I thought they would be between one and two million. I would expect Canada's sales to be a hundreth of US sales. How many US sales hit $200 million at one sale? The US is obviously the "King" when it comes to collector interest, but I think we do pretty reasonable here.
