Hello,
I am inquisitively researching the value current and future of a Canadian bill I possess that appears to have been printed or to have begun circulation in the year 1973. The serial number is BFH4297134.
Can anyone assist with the value, current and/or future as ell as any other information that may be associated with this particular banknote?
Please respond by either the forum or my direct email JenniferLeeW82@gmail.com
Thank you in advance.
Jennifer.

Re: Canadian One Dollar Bill 1973
Even though the date says 1973, that is when the series was first printed, your bill would have been
printed around 1982 or 3. As there were over 1.1Billion printed of that series, the value of yours with
that stain is 1 dollar.

Jennifer,
Thanks for sharing your banknote pictures. As mentioned both of your notes are very common and will not appreciate in value even though they are no longer being produced. They are worth more to you as a conversation piece or sentimental value. There are exceptions that have rare serial numbers or other rare characteristics but common notes like yours were produced and hoarded in the millions in pristine condition.
