Mr. Arthur Smith lived in Victoria, British Columbia, and this token was used as a business card. His foundry was established in 1885 and he began to collect at the age of 21 years old. The dies of this coin were destroyed. The obverse of this piece bears the portrait of John Robson, Prime Minister of British Columbia. He died last year while on a trip to England, on business connected with the Province. The body was brought out for interment in Victoria.
