Following a few months retirement from the grocery business, H. R. Hinton has entered into a partnership with his brother-in-lae, H. F. Bridges, in the operations of the Cranbrook Trading Company Ltd.
Mr. Hinton was a pioneer grocery-man in Cranbrook and was operator of Mannings Ltd. for many years until sale of the business in 1948 to Scotty Webster. The Trading Company was operated for many years by A.D. Bridges, who handed over its managament to his brother, R. F. Bridges, when he retired to Victoria around 1940.
